Our Focus on Sustainable Cardboard Packaging
We take our environmental responsibility very seriously. Most of our packaging is FSC® certified & 100% recyclable. All the wasted and excess boxes manufactured by Tailor Made Packaging are either recycled or re-used. Boxes that we recycle are then utilised to create paper products for various industries that use recycled cardboard.
Cardboard is a fabulous green alternative to polystyrene packaging, which is highly toxic and created with petroleum-based substances. Sustainable cardboard packaging is one of the best packaging solutions that is eco-friendly and has less impact on the environment due to the fact that it is biodegradable.
All of our materials are paper and cardboard-based, and we don’t produce any plastic packaging. We recognise that packaging makes up a significant portion of what is delivered to landfills annually. That’s why we only produce eco-friendly packaging materials as they are renewable and biodegradable.
Polystyrene products alone account for almost thirty percent of landfill capacity worldwide. It is also non-biodegradable, and it will take thousands of years to decompose fully. Sixty percent of all man-made floating material within oceans and rivers are a direct result of the world’s reliance on polystyrene.
